To all members of Fredericton Fish & Game, our next monthly meeting is
scheduled for Tuesday, 12 April at 7 pm at Exit Realty on St. Mary's Street.
We will be providing an update of proceedings (outcome of resolutions, new
fish & wildlife regulations, etc.) that occurred at the NB Wildlife
Federation's annual general meeting. If time permits, we will also view a
DVD on trout and landlocked salmon fishing at Long Lake, NB.
Also, we are planning a fly casting course to take place within the next few
weeks (details to follow).
Will be held in September 2016
Time to Think About Ordering Mushroom Spawn for the Spring 2016 Season! (***Different Inoculation Process This Year***)
Once the logs are inoculated, they should produce mushrooms 2-3 times each year (summer through till early fall) for up to 5 years! They won't produce any (or very few) this fall, as it takes one full year for the mushroom mycelium to invade the log, mature and build up enough strength, to be capable of fruiting/producing mushrooms. For further details and growing info, don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I have attached the inoculation instructions to provide you with some further details on the process.
The above prices should be feasible, as long as there is enough people interested in trying this method out this year. If I find that there is not enough interest, then the prices may increase slightly. If this is an overwhelming amount of interest then the prices could drop slightly. I will wait to hear from everyone and then let you know if there would be any changes necessary before the final order goes in on Feb.15.
